Hey, I'm Liisa (lee-zuh) aka "two eye"

Yes there really are two eyes (haha, get it?) in my name. I've had a lot of nicknames, but in 2023 I was gifted (saddled with?) the moniker "two eye" and decided to do what any normal person would do – rename my business. (If you book a call with me, please ask me to tell you the backstory, it's a fckn riot!)

Anyway, I'm a transplanted Brit living in lovely little Vermont, near the shores of Lake Champlain. When I'm not looking up the meanings of goofy-looking words or giving in to my pup's demands for cuddles, I'm somewhere near or on that lake.

I'm a copywriter...

No shit!

And I LOVE it. But I never intended to do this. In fact, it's probably my 17th career. I grew up bilingual (English and Czech), picked up Russian and a smattering of French along the way (which doesn't help me a lick in Quebec tbh), and know a few reeeeallly good Spanish cuss-words thanks to my Puerto Rican bestie.

...and a dragon boat coach

It's the perfect antidote to the peace, quiet, and solitude of writing. I get to yell and compete and bring out the best in people in a completely different way and I LOVE it. It's a sport I fell into by accident and it changed my entire life. I've paddled with elite Montreal teams, paddled with and coached Team USA teams, and traveled the world pursuing gold medals. If you've never tried it, I highly recommend it. (Go on, Google "dragon boat near me." If "near me" happens to be Burlington, VT - then come try it with us!)

...and an architectural historian

Bet you didn't see that one coming, huh.

I ADORE historic buildings – especially old doors and firehouses – and a day at the library poring over old books, photographs, letters, and similar things piecing together historical mysteries is my idea of a good time.

I once came across diaries of a Vermont author who had dreamed of seeing her novel brought to life on the silver screen. Sadly, the dream stayed just that – but who knows, maybe one day I'll write the screenplay and get it done in her stead!

So anyway, that's me. A sweary, paddlin', old-door-lovin', history nerd who writes sales copy. And I get totally giddy when I help good people do good things – helping businesses make a positive impact lights my fire.
