You're finally ready to tackle the task of growing your email list. You did the free 5-day mini-course. You know exactly what to do (produce the lead magnet, create the opt-in, write the follow-up emails, etc.).... but there's one thing you are still stumped on.
WTF makes a good lead magnet for your specific audience in the first place!?
You know that in order to attract your ideal client, you need to offer your audience something that will:
fix an immediate problem they have
give them a quick win
position you as an authority
build their trust in you
help them realize they need to work with you
And you have to do it (imho) with integrity and a serve-first mindset.
So what the heck could that be?
This is the hardest part of the process. So let's get some ideas rolling for you.
But first - make sure you understand explicitly who your ideal client it, what they desire most in the world that you can actually help them with, what roadblocks they've been having in achieving that desire, and what you can offer them to move them closer to their goal.
If you're not clear on your ideal client avatar or persona, this isn't going to work. You can't skip ahead. (Well you can, but you're gonna get frustrated when people unsubscribe from your list faster than they sign up, or when they don't move further through your sales funnel because they don't actually want the thing you sell).
